Various commercial developments have been newly constructed or refurbished by Chiverton, particularly where a workforce trained in crafts and traditional skills has proved invaluable.

Projects include St Martin's in Chichester, which won a Sussex Heritage Trust Award.  The new build of a mixed use development with retail shops on the ground floor and six flats on the two floors above, it made a significant contribution to the cityscape.

In addition an office and distribution centre for a marine electronics company required sensitive programming and consideration of the architectural constraints in the area.  Sited in an existing parklands business estate, it was constructed with a steel frame, clad with part brick and part steel, and an industrial roof.

One of several contracts for Goodwood Estates was the conversion of a storage area at Goodwood Racecourse into a stylish contemporary bar.
