The refurbishment, alteration and extension of historic building is an area requiring the greatest sensitivity. The in-house team at Chivertons have acquired considerable expertise in this field. Sound experience of specialised trades and conservation techniques enables individual projects to be approached with confidence.

Custom-built joinery can be provided from our workshop. Stone-masonry, traditional lead roofing, rubbed brickwork, decorative plasterwork and special decorative finishes are all within the experience of the Company. A number of recent projects have been recognised with Historic Building or Civic Trust Awards.
