Our reputation for bringing together specialist crafts and construction techniques has led to many innovative and specialist building commissions.

These include the Gridshell for Weald and Downland open air museum. The project necessitated close cooperation within the professional team; gained much public and media attention and has been award winning.

Unhindered by internal structure and made from renewable materials, the Gridshell was constructed from a lattice of oak laths and deformed into shape by lowering it from a high scaffold platform.  The structure is an incredibly beautiful triple hourglass shape spanning 50 metres.
