The reorganisation in the Health Service has led to the building of multi-purpose doctors’ surgeries.

Chiverton’s has been at the forefront of this change and has developed a good reputation for building excellent medical and daycare facilities.

These include the construction of new almshouses, and a listed building refurbished to form accommodation, for the Trustees of St Mary’s Hospital.  Set in the centre of Chichester, the residences were awarded with a Sussex Heritage Trust Award in recognition of the care taken to produce a scheme appropriate to the surroundings.  The almshouses were opened by the Prince of Wales who praised the standard of work of the professional team.
